The National Head Start Association wants to share with the world the lives that Head Start has touched since it was founded. This campaign is called “27 Million Windows,” to showcase the window of opportunity that Head Start provides to children raised within the walls of poverty.
What is Head Start?
“Head Start provides a range of comprehensive education, health, nutrition, parent involvement, and family support services and has primarily served atrisk children and their families since 1965.” For more information about Head Start see Basic Head Start Facts from the NHSA.
